The Shabbat is coming.

The Shabbat is coming, and I am racing around baking challah, cleaning, and trying to prepare my house for Shabbat, and stay out of my office. For days I have been blocked, and now I have all these great ideas and want to get them all down on paper and its Friday....OY VEY! Do you suppose the devil blocks us at times and then we become unblocked right at the wrong moment so he can tempt us into working on the Sabbath? I think he does that a lot, but I am determined not to let him steal my joy or tempt me into disobeying God. As much as I want to go to my office and jump into clay and bring all my thoughts to life, I want to honor God more. We do that by keeping his commandments. So I will turn off now, and join Dobby Dumbledore in a restful night. He really loves Shabbat. Its actually Shabbat everyday for him! Dobby does Shabbat well. Shabbat Shalom everyone!
