Summer is Full On!

Summer, or at least something resembling summer is here! This weather is so messed up! In the mornings and late night it's winter, mid morning it's spring, sometimes fall, and afternoon and evenings its summer. You know the end is coming when we have all four seasons in one day. But enough about gloom and doom and things we can't do anything about, let's talk books.

On July 17th, I will be releasing the Devon Rex children's book series in English. As most of you know it's only available right now in Israel, and Greece and in Hebrew and Greek. I pulled the Arabic version in Turkey for personal reasons. So I am excited to get those out in English.

I have also been very busy working on Barbara's bio and we are very close to release with that book. We will be shooting the cover very soon, weather permitting. The book has been a bigger project than I ever imagined. So much content and we've had to change several things and add interviews with people and family members and such. It's been a lot of work, but is all coming together. I think her fans are really going to enjoy it and learn a lot as well.

The Christian fiction series is coming along, and I hope to have the first book out by winter. I have many projects on the table at this time, but by the year's end life should be less hectic. Working on several books at once and still maintaining a business, a home and family is mass chaos at its best most days. I haven't had much free time to blog. I also have not had the time to get the recipe tab up but I promise I haven't forgotten. Time is just so limited right now.

I am excited that today is Friday and the Shabbat is coming so I can rest! I was making grape juice and challah this morning for the Shabbat, I kept hearing my mother's words, " one day you will look at the Shabbat as God intended us to look at it, as a Holy day of rest. A gift from God to us. " We used to fight over Shabbat because I would try and slip work in an hour before sunset. Now I understand my mother's words. Now I thank God for His gift because by Friday sunset, I need a rest! I used to feel guilty and lazy on Shabbat as if I should be doing something. But as I get older, I realise what a gift it is to have that day of rest and just focus on family and God. Until next time, Shabbat Shalom

This is what we have been busy doing! Baking, fishing, planting kitchen herbs, gardening, juicing, dieting, eating out, watching movies, writing, painting, decorating, moon gazing, star gazing, family game night, and loving life! See ya next time!
